"Please leave your values at the front desk", en un hotel en Paris.
En un hotel japones: "You are invited to take advantage of the chambermaid" (Ya sabes, los japoneses son enormemente corteses ...). Un hotel de Zurich advierte: "Because the improprierty of entertaining guest of the opposite sex in the bedroom, it is suggested that the lobby be used for this purpose" (evidentemente surge una cuestion: Y si el invitado es del mismo sexo, podria utilizarse the bedroom o tambien habria que bajar al lobby?

Las excelentes condiciones para la infancia, en Noruega, no se extienden al parecer a todo el territorio: "Ladies are requested not to have children at the bar".
Desde Moscu: "You are welcome to visit the cemetery, where famous Russian and Soviet composers, artists and writers are buried daily except Thursday". En el zoo de Budapest el ser humano esta muy por encima de cualquier animal: "Please do not feed the animals. If you have any suitable food, give it to the guard on duty". En un dentista en Hong Kong las muelas son "extracted by the latest Methodists". Y en una compagnia aerea en Copenhague: "will take your bags and send them in all directions".
El capitulo de las ropas hay verdaderas perlas: un peletero en Suecia: "Furs coats made for ladies from their own skin". Un sastre en Sudafrica "wants early orders for summer suits, because in big rush we will execute customers in strict rotation" (bueno, si es estrictamente por
turno...). Pero, quien necesita ropa?. "Drop your trousers here for best results", se sugiere en una tintoreria en Bangkok, y en Roma:"Ladies, leave your clothes here and spend the afternoon having a good time". Y tambien en Roma, un medico con muy variados talentos: "Specialist in women and other diseases".
